Job Description
Altis Recruitment is seeking a Director of Sales & Design for our client, who specializes in Design & Build Construction.
As the Director of Sales, you will lead our sales team in achieving and exceeding targets for renovation and custom home construction contracts.
You will support the sales team in conjunction with sales, while collaborating closely with the design and construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery while upholding our standards of excellence and customer satisfaction.
PLEASE NOTE : This role is onsite in Stittsville, 5 days per week.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve annual sales targets using our defined sales process.
- Motivate, mentor, and inspire team members to perform at their best in a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Conduct team meetings to foster teamwork and discuss project updates.
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout the sales, design, and construction phases.
- Collaborate effectively with the Leadership Team to drive company goals and initiatives for the future.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and business contacts.
- Stay informed about residential design trends, Ontario Building Code, and environmental building practices to drive market share and expand business opportunities.
Analyze trends to identify new opportunities for growth.
Qualifications and Skills
- 5-7 years of experience in sales management with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Previous design and build, residential construction or real estate industry experience.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with strong organizational skills and a passion for customer service.
- Excellent leadership and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with BuilderTrend and familiarity with Revit / AutoCAD platforms preferred.
- Experience in residential design / construction sales preferred, including knowledge of residential construction procedures and ability to interpret zoning requirements.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with strong technical writing and graphical presentation skills.
- Interest in working in a dynamic team environment, including leading team builders and events.
- Familiarity with project management principles and EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is advantageous.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on industry trends.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.
