Contribute to development of Logistics and freight category strategies
Manage logistics and freight related supplier scorecards, communicate evaluation criteria, and facilitate regular supplier discussions
Review and manage feedback, resolve emergent supplier / carrier issues within Supply Chain, and serve as a resource to resolve business unit issues and problems
Advisory lead for all of TC Energy’s customs related considerations, to offer guidance to remain compliant
Act as a liaison with our customs brokers, internal stakeholders, and government agencies
Effective liaison with internal clients, external clients, including business partners, on all aspects of customs and trade compliance
Integration, training and development of corporate Customs and Trade Compliance program
Consider TC Energy’s business needs while advising and recommending the options available while considering global customs and trade compliance regulations
Knowledge of laws and regulations enforced by Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA), US Customs and Border Protection (USCBP), and Centralized Mexican Government Agency
Identify and resolve customs and trade compliance issues by performing all the reasonable tasks which are considered to be necessary for the proper planning, execution, and monitoring of TC Energy’s Customs and Trade Compliance Program
Ensure team compliance to work standards, policies and procedures
Coordinate work for team (as required)
Mentor / coach developing team members to enable them to successfully perform their functions
On-board, coach, and mentor new SC Customs specialists
Lead special projects as required
Coordinate cross-training of team members to increase overall effectiveness and versatility, this includes but is not limited to cross-training between logistics and customs
