Mani Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate medical assessment reports to ensure continuity, consistency, accuracy, spelling, grammar and compliance with current regulations.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on medical documentation, including medical histories, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans.
- Identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in medical assessments and provide timely feedback to assessors for correction.
- Collaborate with assessors, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to assessors on quality assurance procedures and documentation requirements.
- Ensure accurate report timelines are recorded
- Ensure reports are sent to the client on time
- Ensure the timely follow-up and tracking of all QA statuses and reports
- Follow QA protocols for releasing and saving reports
- Offer exceptional customer service when responding to client queries and / or explaining report discrepancies
- Identify issues that will impact on service standards and rectify or escalate those issues
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- A regulated health professional with at least 3 years' experience either as a Kinesiologist, Physiotherapist or Nurse
- 1-2 years work experience in medical clinic. / hospital or insurance office
- Action-oriented, highly organized, results-oriented, independent problem solver with demonstrated clinical, medical legal assessment and / or adjudication experience
- Detailed familiarity with the current and prior auto insurance legislation, arbitration and associated legal decisions.
- Solid command of the English language and demonstrated excellent communication skills
- Has working knowledge of MS Word and Excel and the ability to learn and navigate new systems
- Flexible and team-oriented
- French / English fluency is strongly preferred
