The welder, under the supervision of his team leader, welds and assembles steel and aluminum equipment
Tasks and responsibilities :
- Weld using the semi-automatic process using operational procedures while respecting the required quality standard;
- Perform uniform welds of variable lengths;
- Perform welds in three different positions (flat, horizontal and downward);
- Check the appearance of the weld bead and the absence of porosity;
- Organize the time allocated to welding in order to optimize productivity;
- Handle filler products, bins, tools and equipment carefully and safely with the help of the overhead crane;
- Maintain your work area safe and clean;
- Perform all other tasks inherent to the position.
Required skills :
- Knowledge and mastery of the semi-automatic process;
- Good manual dexterity;
- Precise and rapid manual-visual coordination;
- Good perception of shapes to detect slight differences in the product;
- Rigor and concern for a job well done;
- Collaboration and team spirit;
- Compliance with health and safety rules.
