What youwill be doing :
- Reviewthe daily operations with the pastry team prepare thenecessary food items in accordance with Fairmont standards in atimely and efficient manner
- Conduct daily shiftbriefings with pastry team members
- Effectivelymanage food costs and production control to reducewastage
- Supervise provide guidance and trainingto pastry team in all food preparation and execution of the events.
- Assist with creating menus recipespictures and training materials to ensure consistency efficiency tomeet the set standards.
- Lead the charge on allFairmont standards train employees on menus and cookingprocedures
- Kitchen maintenance and cleaning.Following food safety requirements.
- Maintainingproper rotation of product in all chillers to minimizespoilage
- Follow all safety and sanitationpolicies when handling food
- Ensure that allfood products are handled stored prepared and served safely inaccordance with hotel and Food Safety guidelines.
Ensure that allECOSURE standards and processes are completed on a daily basis thisincludes but isnt limited to filling out daily temperature logslabelling and dating of items as well ensuring food storage areasare cleaned daily.

Qualifications :
Yourexperience and skillsinclude :
- Previousexperience in both luxury hotel and restaurant environment is anasset
- Strong knowledge of Chocolate work anddesign
- Strong knowledge of restaurant dessertdesign
- Creative and passionate about food andcustomer service
- Is a selfstarter and displaysinitiative and curiosity for all food relateditems
- Able to give clear direction setexpectations and provide training to teammembers
- Able to work without supervision anddisplay sound decisions make skills
- Ability toread understand and follow recipes within theguidelines
- Ability to read a prep list anddetermine in what sequence of order job should becomplete
- Ability to multi task prioritize andmanage time efficiently to ensure jobcompletion
- Strong organizationskills
- Ability to listen follow directionsprecisely to achieve the end result
- Stayscurrent & knowledgeable of both local and global cuisinetrends applying those into our offerings
- Ableto work in a fast paced highpressureenvironment
