Responsibilities :
- Design code test debug and document new andexisting components to meet business quality and operationalneeds.
- Build highquality code following unittesting and testdriven developmentpractices.
- Drive and participate in code anddocument reviews mentoring the team on bestpractices.
- Collaborate with peer organizationsDevOps and support teams on technical issues providing guidance asneeded.
- Interpret business needs and translatethem into technical requirements and accurateestimates.
- Evaluate and recommend toolstechnologies and processes to achieve the highest quality andperformance.
- Work with the team to troubleshootand resolve codelevel issues quickly andefficiently.
- Apply deep technical expertise tosolve challenging programming and designproblems.
- Focus on scalability security andavailability across all applications andprocesses.
- Contribute to the design andarchitecture of secure scalable and maintainablesoftware.
- Assist in risk identification anddevelop risk mitigation strategies related to thearchitecture.
- Contribute to the technicalroadmap and eliminate technical debt balancing time resources andquality to meet business and strategic goals.
Minimum Qualifications :
- BS / MS in Computer Science or equivalent workexperience.
- 8 years of experience in developingscalable microservice eventdrivensoftware applications.
- Practical experiencebuilding RESTful APIs using NodeJS and Java .
- Strongexperience with Amazon Web Services( AWS ) (e.g. Lambda ECS APIGateway SQS SNS Kinesis S3 IAM DynamoDB RDS ).
- Extensiveexperience with event streaming and reactive programming using AWSor opensource equivalents (e.g. ApacheKafka Flink ).
- Experiencewith application performance monitoring and runtime user monitoringtools is highly desirable.
- Passion foropensource technologies.
- Strong verbal andwritten communicationskills.
