We are seeking a Senior Financial Leader whowill report to the Regional Director Finance & BusinessSupport Accor Central Canada and the General Manager of FairmontChateau Laurier.
This role is a key member of the propertysExecutive Committee and will play a crucial part in drivingfinancial performance and operationalexcellence.
KeyResponsibilities :
BusinessOperations Analysis : Analyze and advise on revenueand expenditure trends financial commitments and future revenues.
Recommend efficient resource use and provide strategic financialrecommendations.
FinancialManagement : Lead the Accounting Purchasing Receivingand IT departments ensuring all standards are followed. Oversee thepreparation of financial statements budgets andforecasts.
TeamLeadership : Support guide and coach team members toensure positive colleague engagement. Develop and implementColleague Engagement Survey ActionPlans.
ExecutiveParticipation : Actively participate in ExecutiveCommittee Department Head and Revenue Management meetings.Contribute to the preparation of annual operating budgets salesplans and strategicplans.
Complianceand Controls : Ensure full compliance with Accor IFRSand internal financial controls. Establish and monitor operationalcontrols andstrategies.
CashFlow Management : Ensure adequate cash flow foroperations approve cash disbursements and oversee budget andforecastactivities.
Health& Safety : Follow and promote health andsafety standards within the team andoperations.
AssetProtection : Protect Accor and hotel ownershipsinterests in assets and operations liaising with Corporate Legaland Risk Management asneeded.
AdditionalDuties : Perform other duties as assigned by theGeneral Manager and RegionalDirector.
Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years ofsenior financial leadership experience preferably in thehotel / hospitalityindustry.
CanadianAccounting Designationpreferred.
Proficientin complex accounting software Microsoft applications and relevantcomputertools.
Excellentcommunication and organizationalskills.
Stronginterpersonal and problemsolvingabilities.
Highlyresponsible reliable anddetailoriented.
Abilityto work cohesively as part of a team and remain calm and courteousunderpressure.
