Industrial Electrician Apprentice

Third Year Industrial Electrician

$32-$38 / hr

We are currently hiring a Third year Industrial Electrician for a manufacturing plant located in Pitt Meadows, BC. This job opportunity will provide full-time hours, long long-term benefits with stability and longevity for the right candidate.

There will also be opportunities for growth and pay increases.

Responsibilities may include :

• Provide technical assistance to fellow employees, customers
• Respond to customer emergencies and failures / provide timely repairs
• Install, maintain and repair electrical equipment and parts
• panels, distribution panels, cable trays, conduit, ducts, control systems
• read, understand and make informed decisions based on blueprints, technical drawings
• mechanical assembly and fabrication work
• testing
• using hand / power tools
• component, quality and correctness inspection
• maintain real time production records and complete reporting
• coworker training, mentorship and oversight
• will be using company vehicle and get to take home (don't have to drop at facility daily)

Environment :

• Small facility - warehouse and production share the floor, room temperature
• Electricians may be assigned to support commissioning once production has completed project

Team size :

24 employees on the floor, 35 employees total (including office).

Compensation Details :

• Opportunity for wage advancements and promotions from within
• 4% vacation pay
• Weekly payroll cycle
• Benefits will start immediately once employment commences. No waiting period for health and dental benefits. Benefits begin the 1st of each month Employer provides 50% premium coverage on all benefit packages
