The successful candidatewill be responsible for designing developing and maintainingelectrical systems for oil and gas processing plants andfacilities.
This role requires a deep understanding of electricalengineering principles adherence to safety and environmentalstandards and a proactive approach to problemsolving in complexindustrialenvironments.
Requirements
- Developand design electrical systems including power distribution controlsystems and electrical infrastructure for oil and gasfacilities.
- Leadand participate in projects from concept to completion ensuringschedules and budgets aremet.
- yzeexisting electrical systems and recommend improvements or upgradesto enhance performance andsafety.
- Providetechnical support during installation commissioning and troubleingof electrical systemsonsite.
- Workclosely with crossfunctional teams including mechanical civil andprocess engineers as well as vendors andcontractors.
- Preparedetailed engineering doents such as electrical drawings technicalspecifications and equipment datasheets.
Qualifications&Ss :
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognizedinstitution.
- ProfessionalEngineer (P.Eng) designation with APEGA or eligibility forregistration inAlberta.
- 5years of relevant experience in electrical engineering in the Oil& Gas industry particularly in the design and maintenanceof industrial electricalsystems.
- Proficiencyin electrical design software SmartPlant 3D PDSP&ID.
