Our client, a top 5 banking client in Canada is looking for a Business Systems Analyst for an initial 6-month contract, with high possibility of extension / conversion.
This role is hybrid with 2 days in the office
The primary responsibility of the Business Systems Analyst is to perform analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of system requirements and possess the ability to lead and manage the delivery of detailed technical and functional specifications.
Responsibilities :
- Plan, manage, and lead the delivery of detailed system requirements and technical and functional specifications in alignment with standards and frameworks.
- Provide technical leadership and collaborate closely with business and technology partners, project teams, and stakeholders to plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate, and manage detailed functional specifications.
- Draft the initial Business Requirements Document (BRD) based on product requirements and manage updates based on technology and business feedback.
- Coordinate reviews and approvals from key stakeholders.
- Work with technology partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Possess knowledge and experience with deposits products and systems to facilitate accurate requirement gathering and analysis.
- Be available during the seed discovery phase to address any additional requirement updates that may arise.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working on Agile projects.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
Nice to Haves :
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in Agile-related delivery.
- Experience with Salesforce or Adobe platforms.
- Familiarity with Marketing Technology (martec) concepts and tools.
- Previous experience with IT (RBSS) projects would be highly desirable
