Building MaintenanceTechnician

Responsible for facility operationsincluding the management of mechanical electrical and supportsystems the candidate will be tasked with performing regularinspections and ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance ofequipment all while adhering to safety environmental and qualitystandards.

Salary : Between $55.000 and $60.000 adjustable based onqualifications and experience.

MobilityRequired : This role requires traveling between different sites aswell as availability oncall outside normal workinghours.

Responsibilities :
Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve issues with the facility smechanical and electrical systems providing improvement and repairrecommendations.
Maintenance : Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipmentfollowing established processes. Regularly monitor systems andequipment to ensure their proper function and compliance withhealth and safety standards.
Facility Operations : Conduct regular inspections to ensureequipment integrity and facility availability. Manage work ordersand ensure their execution within timelines and qualitystandards.
Client Relations : Actively participate in improving client satisfaction bymaintaining positive relationships through qualityservice.
Administration : Supportfacilityrelated projects maintain tools and equipment and ensurecompliance with internal policies andregulations.
Whatyou will need tosucceed :
High school diploma with vocational training certification orapplicable license.
Buildingoperator certification or equivalentrequired.
Provincial HVAC licenseor apprenticeship (e.g. Gas Installer I and II license inrefrigeration etc.).
Valid drivers license and ability to obtain a security clearance for sitetravel.
3 years of experience inpreventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC pneumatic orhydraulic systems.
Strongknowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVACsystems.
Communication skills forsharing technical information feedback and mentoring juniortechnicians.
Ability to work inshifted schedules and respond to emergencycalls.
Strict adherence to healthand safety policies including wearing personal protective equipment(PPE).
