Who are you?
You are an experienced Director with 10+ years postgraduate experience in loan monitoring / lender services , looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment looking to join a growing and dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, driven and able to work independently and part of a team. In this significant position you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction, embedding, and promoting the purpose, values, and vision of Turner & Townsend.
Job Description
As a Director , you will be involved in :
Preparing, reviewing, and assuring Loan Monitoring reports, both preliminary and monthly
Strong leadership skills; experience leading a loan monitoring team, ensuring they deliver on all accountabilities.
Guiding a team to conduct regular assessments of progress claim reports, which include submitting invoices, evaluating changes, analyzing on-site progress, and recommending loan disbursements.
Review and certify payment requests to ensure accuracy, compliance with contractual terms, and proper documentation
Develop and analyze pro forma budgets to ensure in line with market conditions and similar projects, compliance with contractual and schedule requirements, and allowance for risk is captured.
Research related to construction market conditions throughout the region, including analysis of official published data
Taking responsibility for developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients
Lead proposals for new work or variations for existing commissions
Attending relevant networking events and other promotional opportunities
Financial management utilizing the tools provided and keep track of the ongoing margin levels and monthly fee / resource forecasts for each commission and the overall service
Staff management Providing performance reviews of loan monitoring staff.
Recruitment Management of recruitment process, including interviews
Knowledge management Ensuring that key information and learning generated from each commission is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database
Qualifications
Qualifications
10 years of relevant experience in loan monitoring and a minimum of 3 years of management experience with the ability to mentor a team of 3+ members.
Recognized university degree
Certification in relevant professional organizations (PQS / MRICS)
Effectively able to pivot between a delivery and management role.
Valid drivers license
Eligibility to work in Canada
