Responsibilities
- Responsible of the architecture, design and development of software solutions under the leadership of application architects.
- Review and analyze business requirements to conceptualize solutions, prepare high level and low-level technical design documents.
- Provide accurate assessment of software development solutions efforts and dependencies.
- Interface with other teams to refine requirements and present the technical design and architecture details.
- Build feature rich Web applications as well as middleware supporting process automation.
- Be mindful of non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, usability and maintainability.
- Contribute to a positive user-centric Agile team environment; Maintain ongoing compliance of code development requirements under our SCRUM project management.

- 10 years of relevant experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
- Strong experience in programming using Python and identified frameworks & modules.
- Strong experience with ElasticSearch.
- Experience building Web services - REST (JSON) / SOAP; Knowledge of JQuery, AJAX;
- Experience with MS Visual Studio development environment
- Experience working with MS .Net Core framework.
- Strong experience with MS SQL Server, MS SQL Management Studio and knowledge of T-SQL.
- Strong interpersonal skills & ability to effectively convey a point and gain support from stakeholders. Strong English verbal & written skills.
- Excellent at breaking down complex problems. Self-starter who can work independently.
- Experience working in an environment where the team and applications support processes around Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliancy.
Assets & Additional Information
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and BAF (Company’s application framework) using Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence and Gitlab.
- Experience in the telecommunications domain.
- Ability to work on application support rotation (internal service desk) with the rest of the development team.
- Ability to work flexible hours if required during deployment & normalization.
- Language : English required, French bilingualism is an asset
