This is a 6-month contract located in the Toronto that runs from November 25, 2024 to May 31, 2025 with option to renew for an additional 6-months.
There may be opportunity for additional shifts in other areas served by our company.
Min CAD $18.00 per hour (Starting rate)
Max CAD $22.00 per hour (Not including profit sharing plan or bonuses)
A valid TPS - Toronto Police Service Parking Enforcement MLEO Certificate Certified Officer, Parking Offences is Required for this position.

Overview :
Monday to Friday 40 hour week schedule - 7am to 3pm Shifts 8-hours daily).
Responsibilities :
Reporting to the Director of Parking Enforcement, you will conduct vehicle & foot patrols of assigned areas throughout the GTA ensuring compliance with municipal parking by-laws as they relate to the parking of vehicles.
Duties include issuing parking violation notices; arranging for the towing of vehicles in violation of the by-laws in accordance with established policies and procedures;
and attending court to give evidence relating to parking violations, as required. Candidates require computing skills as all work is performed on tablet computing and smart-phone in-vehicle devices.
Qualifications :
Candidates must be a Canadian citizen without criminal record (a criminal records search document must be provided to be considered).
Completion of a post secondary law enforcement program is required. The successful candidates will be able to work independently with limited supervision, the candidates will effectively work under pressure and handle difficult customer situations.
A valid Class G1 driver’s license and a clear driving record are required as this is a patrol position.
In addition, the candidate must be available for steady evening & overnight, weekend and statutory holiday shifts, as required.
Must be physically capable of performing duties under adverse conditions. Must be capable of operating an enforcement vehicle with frequent stops that also requires the candidate to exit and enter the vehicle frequently.
Candidates must be capable of bending in order to facilitate the chalking of vehicle tires. May be required to conduct foot and / or bicycle patrols.
The successful candidate will be asked to provide a security guard licence. Annual checks thereafter are required. The candidates will also be required to provide a current clear driver’s abstract from the M.
T.O. and passport photos for ID card.
Preference will be given to qualified MLEO applicants that posses a valid municipal by-law certification to enforce municipal parking by-laws on private property within municipalities in the GTA.
