We are looking for a creative, versatile,and experienced digital copywriter to bring Air Canada brand to life across ourdigital channels.
As Digital Copywriter, you willbe responsible for the creation of multiple content assets of mixed naturewithin the eCommerce team.
You will work with diverse internal businesspartners as part of a high-performing cross-functional team, to effectivelydeliver high-impact content to a variety of audiences and digital channels.
This position requires someonewho has deep digital writing, impressive communication and editing skills,ability to absorb complex information and translate it into meaningfulmessaging, and proven ability to take ownership of content developments oflarge and short scope, managing multiple projects within tight deadlines and ina fast-paced global environment.
Responsibilities include butare not limited to :
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with the eCommerce and Digital Contentteam, including copywriters, UX / UI designers, and Web developers, to craft thecontent for our portfolio of digital channels including web, mobile and appdevelopments
- Manage multiple content projects at a time from conception through completion,providing full writing, editing, proofreading and delivery to multiple internalstakeholders
- Ensure the consistent creation and delivery of concise, findable, and engagingcontent that adheres to Air Canada’s brand guidelines, uses today’s bestdigital practices for the given channel, and it is optimized for Search Engines
- Act as Quality Assurance resource across multiple projects to ensure AirCanada’s brand voice and style are consistently met
- Continuously research on industry benchmarks, ideas, and innovations to improvemessaging direction
- Manage and deliver on contenttranslation
Qualifications
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in copywriting, editorial or masscommunications
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills, and experiencewriting / editing for digital channels (web, mobile, applications)
- Ability to switch betweenmultiple projects, audiences, channels, and scopes
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and under very tight deadlines
- Passionate about working in a holistic customer-centric environment, and collaboratingacross departments and teams
- Familiar with visual content production
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices a strong asset
- Experience with Content Management Systems and processes in a digital space
- Experience in digital environments for a retail organization an asset
- Ability to properly write inFrench (in addition to English), a strong asset
