Job Description
Our Kitchen Office Manager works with our culinary team to create world class dining experiences for our guests, ensuring the department is operating seamlessly year-round.
Competitive Salary :
$66,000 - $71,000, based on previous experience and education.
Job Duties Include :
- Build the yearly workforce plan and conduct all recruiting for the culinary & stewarding departments - this includes screening resumes, contacting prospects, conducting department interviews to maintain staffing levels
- Conduct department orientation, including health and safety and WHMIS training
- Ensure department training manual and employee files are created and up to date.
- Complete payroll on a daily basis, including a review of daily overtime
- Managing uniform and stationary procurement and inventory ensuring all items are received within the correct months.
- Adhere to and follow ALLSAFE health and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven track record as an administrator, trainer and developer
- Demonstrated ability to build a strong team through recruitment, training and organization
- Knowledge of culinary operations is a strong asset
- Previous payroll administration experience would be an asset
- Previous background in a Food & Beverage environment and a strong understanding of the demands of a large quantity kitchen environment would be an asset.
- A post-secondary education in Hospitality Management would be an asset.
