SUMMARY :
Merit Services Ltd. is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our client’s team in Ajax. As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and provide valuable insights and solutions to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, gather requirements, and document business processes.
- Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and develop clear and concise documentation.
- Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired states and recommend solutions.
- Assist in the design and implementation of new systems, processes, and workflows.
- Conduct data analysis to extract insights and provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions and monitor their effectiveness.
- Conduct user acceptance testing to validate system functionality and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Provide training and support to end users to facilitate smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the business domain.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and creatively.
- Experience with process modeling, requirements gathering, and documentation.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and software tools.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work on multiple projects concurrently.
