WORK DESCRIPTION : We have an exciting, permanent opportunity for a Level 1a-2 technician in our Montreal office (mostly remote work).
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a client service role within an energetic and friendly team with access to a state-of-the-art technology environment.
The Level 1A-2 technician is the primary interface with the end user client for all technical issues and is responsible for monitoring infrastructure and customer's devices, troubleshooting and resolving problems while communicating technical issues to the end user and technical teams as per our standard operations procedures.
We are looking for both 1A and Level 2 phone technicians. We will determine IT knowledge through testing during interviews.
CARACTERISTICS OF IDEAL APPLICANT : - A minimum of five (5) years of working experience in a Level 1 - 1A or Level 2 technical role - Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite including O365, General Administrative knowledge of Windows servers.
- Infrastructure IT understanding a must.understanding TCP / IP communications understanding VLANs and port assignments.Troubleshooting IP environmentsTelephony support knowledge a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work well with a variety of clients- Capable of learning and utilizing multiple call tracking systems - Ability to follow processes and possess good documentation skills- Candidate should be well organized and possess good customer service skills- Willing to learn and grow one's technical knowledge - Fully bilingual French & English (written, spoken), English stronger, Spanish is a huge advantage.
- Experience supporting manufacturing environments or working with US customers a plusSHIFTS : 1 shift available is for 4 days / week from 1 PM to 9 PM + 1 day / week from 5 PM to 12 AM, and another shift is for 5 days / week from 8 AM to 4 PM.
SALARY : Commensurate with experience & technical skills (expect technical and soft skills testing during the interview).
