We are seeking to attract an experienced CIO to join the senior leadership team and drive the robust, multi-year digital roadmap for a rapidly growing, innovation-focused organization in the biotechnology industry.
This is an exciting role for an accomplished and forward-thinking IT leader who is energized by the opportunity to architect and evolve the IT, Data and AI capabilities in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with the aim of implementing an industry leading IT and digital platform.
Key Responsibilities :
- Evolve the current IT strategy to support a lean and integrated end-to-end IT landscape.
- Implement IT systems to support customer acquisition and retention, data management and advanced data analysts, manufacturing operations, laboratory research and enterprise functions, all within a secure and scalable IT infrastructure.
- Develop a high-performance team of internal staff and external service providers to leverage current and emerging technologies (such as AI / ML and robotics) to deliver solutions that support aggressive business growth.
- Collaborate with peers across the organization to align IT initiatives with business priorities and chair the IT Steering Committee.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
- Proven IT leadership in complex, regulated environments, ideally within manufacturing, CDMO, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals.
- Strong strategic thinker with a track record in introducing emerging technologies / innovation within highly regulated (ideally GMP) environments.
- Demonstrated success leading and motivating internal and external teams.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to simplify complexity and deliver results within a rapidly growing, early stage company.
