Wage : $37.00 / hr
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Automobile Repair Shop Manager specializing in Automobile Parts to oversee the purchasing and inventory of automotive parts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining stock, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that the right parts are available for vehicle repairs and servicing.
Candidates should have a solid understanding of logistics and inventory management and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Job duties and responsibilities :
- Maintain inventory control and ensure availability of parts
- Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers
- Coordinate with service and repair departments to ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize surplus
- Prepare and administer parts department budget
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting with parts identification and selection
- Trian and mentor parts department staff
- Keep records of sales, invoices, inventory, and any customer problems
- Work with management to develop strategies for increasing sales and profitability
Education : Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
Skills and Experience :
- Minimum 3 years' relevant work experience.
- Must be a team-work oriented individual with good communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Familiarity with the automotive industry and parts is a must.
