Role description

  • Analyze the business requirements to understand the new functionality.
  • Engage in requirements discussions and review the BRD for gap analysis.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on SRD.
  • Perform an impact analysis of the change. Define test objectives and identity business KPIs / Metrics.
  • Create a test strategy Define scope of testing Provide the test & test data approach Determine the scope & tools for automation including leveraging emerging technologies like AI / ML Adhere to processes through all phases of the project / program to ensure activities performed are compliant to the standards

Required skill set

  • Experience in Software Testing Life Cycle
  • Agile or Waterfall methodologies, QA approaches, Tools, Techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems.
  • Expertise in developing test strategies and test frameworks.
  • Understanding of DevOps tools. Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines

Understanding of the Business Banking domain as an SME

Details of Candidate Briefing :

  • This role is responsible to engage early in software development requirements discussion with business team and provide quality feedback, define test strategy, scope of testing and form the test approach.
  • An ideal candidate is expected to have Understanding of the Business Banking domain as an SME. Experience in Software Testing Life Cycle Agile or Waterfall methodologies, QA approaches, Tools, Techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems.
  • Expertise in developing test strategies and test frameworks. Understanding of DevOps tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines. Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
