The Cost Accountant will be responsible for analyzing and controlling costs within the organization. The Cost Accountant will participate in preparing cost reports, budgeting, and collaborating with various departments to ensure financial efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities
- Analyze production costs and determine the cost prices of products.
- Prepare and maintain reports on costs and profit margins.
- Collaborate with production and sales teams to assess costs and profitability.
- Monitor variances between actual costs and budgeted costs.
- Participate in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct regular audits of costs and inventory processes.
- Provide recommendations to optimize costs and improve margins.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent.
- Proven experience in cost accounting or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and cost analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bilingual in French and English.
