We are seeking a passionate and organised Event Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team and help bring our events to life.
The Event Marketing Assistant will support the planning, execution, and promotion of events while fostering positive experiences for attendees.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, creative flair, and a keen interest in event marketing and management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including conferences, trade shows, workshops, and webinars.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, including flyers, emails, and social media content.
- Help manage registration processes and maintain attendee lists.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, and equipment rentals.
- Monitor event budgets and assist with vendor communications and negotiations.
- Support on-site event management, including setup, registration, and attendee engagement.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and analyse success metrics.
- Maintain databases and tracking systems for events and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management, Communications, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
- Previous experience in event planning, marketing, or coordination is a plus, including internships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with event management software is a plus.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies is beneficial.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- A positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
