Job Titles Field Services Representative-Transformers Location As part of the Shermco B.C Operations cost center, this position is based out of Burnaby, British Columbia Start Date TBD Job Description The Employee will be responsible for Field Service duties in the transformer & oil service department coordinated by Alberta Transformer Operation, including, but not limited to, the following :
- Responsible for draining, storing, and processing oil from power transformers and other electrical equipment.
- Transformer maintenance including assemblies and repairs.
- Electrically test transformers and other electro-mechanical equipment
- Provide analysis and evaluation of electro-mechanical equipment, analytical results and provide technical solutions.
- Maintain and improve Shermco’s oil processing assets.
- Responsible for ensuring the Technical Services team assists in meeting the overall operational goals for the organization including development of standards and procedures.
- Review project costs and revenues with other technical staff and identify areas requiring improvement.
- Foster positive and productive business relationships with representatives of major clients and develop new client relationships and opportunities.
- Perform project coordinating and management duties on projects as required; and
- Will be responsible to become familiar with, abide by, and to administer the Shermco Health, Personnel and Safety policies.
- Possess the capacity to work on projects with personnel of various disciplines and skill levels

Reporting Line
The Employee will report to Andrew Brown and in conjunction with Brendan White and Transformer services.
Pay Scale
- Overtime after 8 hours, Double time after 10 hours
