Our client is seeking a Sr Principal Consultant Analytics Engagement Consultant to join their team.
This role requires a solid set of skills in Analytics; Data Analysis : Business Analysis and world class client facing / presentations skills.
This is a newly created role within a large Enterprise environment (Information Technology; Manufacturing). We are seeking an individual from a managed services / professional services environment in supply chain (forward supply chain and / or reverse supply chain).
Experience in an Analytical role in an analytics firm would also be relevant.
Role :
- Responsible for analytical business engagements within the professional services / managed services business supported by the advanced customer solutions team including :
- Owning all analytical activities across a strategic account(s)
- Interfacing with senior-level customer stakeholders across all core supply chain functions to identify significant business opportunities for analytics.
- Planning, developing, facilitating, and executing complex strategic analysis
- Establishing and maintaining the strategic focus of a portfolio of multiple customer facing analytical investigations
- Driving the scale-up and growth of consulting engagements with clients
- Managing the measurement and realization of business results
- Managing business process changes associated with analytics projects across client, partner and internal organizations.
Accountabilities
This role is directly accountable for success of analytics engagements with clients. This role is jointly accountable for overall success of managed professional services engagements and growth of the managed professional services business portfolio.

- Role has a broad scope and high complexity :
- Complex client problems spanning full breadth of supply chain.
- Complex organizations with matrix reporting structures (client, partner, and vendor)
- Ambiguous problem statements, different perspectives from different parts of the organization that need to be synthesized and aligned
- Combined role of hands-on analytics with ownership of strategic vision
Autonomy
- Need to be a self-starter, comfortable working with executives and senior leaders as well as individual contributors at all levels across all major business functions within the client’s organization, our organization and our partner organizations.
- Role is a senior manager level individual contributor with opportunity to build out to a team as organization matures.
Impact of Decisions
Customer Analytics is a key strategic capability. This position is critical to enable strategic growth objectives. Decisions affecting the success / failure of client engagements as well as decisions affecting the success / failure of capability roadmaps will have a lasting multi-year impact.

Must Have Skill Requirements
- Candidates should have between 7 to 10 years of previous, recent and related experience in the following areas of expertise :

good at organizing investigations, identifying options and setting direction
- Learner : Compulsion to inquire and ask questions; Inspired by the thrill of learning; comfortable in dynamic environments
