As an Oracle CEGBU Cloud Operations Administrator, you will be expected to meet the below requirements :
- At least 3-5 years proven implementation, support, consulting and / or development experience, preferably in a SaaS or Cloud environment management.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven skills in using industry standard tools and techniques.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours Sunday through Saturday.
Experience in troubleshooting performance issues (collect and analyze log files, run SQL scripts
Experience in any of the following will be considered as an advantage : Mentoring junior team members on new products and technologies, delivering product technical or functional trainings, Knowledge of or experience in : Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Grafana, OBI, Oracle DB & OEM, Oracle IDCS, Oracle APM, Programming (Bash / Java).
Key technical & Analytical Skills :
Well-developed troubleshooting skills in functional and technical SaaS application environments.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to troubleshoot performance issues
Understand modern database structure component types including RAC, EXADATA, VM Database, containerized database, Autonomous Database (ATP) and terminology as such
Experience in one or more of the following :
Log reading and analyzing
Developing and executing SQL queries
Troubleshooting in SaaS / Cloud environments
- Documenting problem, troubleshooting and resolution steps
- Managing cloud deployment using Kubernetes
Creating, modifying and executing Jenkins pipelines
Proficiency in Bash and / or Java programming language
Synthetic monitoring
Web Service / API calls
Behavioral :
Excellent communication skills, in terms of being able to deliver technical and functional knowledge and solutions to management and customer support personnel, including the ability to provide feedback to both technically aware and non-technically aware co-workers.
Good interpersonal and customer care skills.
Ability to work with other team members and OCI teams alike.
Ability to work well and remain positive under pressure.
Customer oriented attitude.
Well-developed listening skills, the ability to ask questions and fully understand what s being asked.
Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.

Open to working alternate shifts, our team operates on a 24 x 7 schedule.
Able to work well in a team, as well as on your own.
Process orientation preferred.
Education :
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
Other qualifications, certifications and work experience within the IT domain may be considered.

Main responsibilities :
You will be the second level technical support interface for CEGBU Cloud offerings. You will provide environment support to internal Oracle teams, including Development, for resolution of problems related to the use of and maintenance of the Oracle CEGBU SaaS offerings.
As your knowledge level increases, you will be asked to manage critical incidents and escalations, including disaster recovery scenarios.
You will develop an in-depth working knowledge of these products and / or platforms they run on. You will be able to complete assigned duties with minimal directions from management.
Routinely, you will act independently while researching and developing solutions for customer reported issues.
Outside of escalation and advanced troubleshooting, our team is also responsible for such things as analytics / forecasting, monitoring / automation and improving repeatable process to better allow the level-one support team to be successful.

Canada : Hiring Range from $58,100 to $126,000 CAD per annum
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
