Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members participating in assigned projects
- Manage project documentation (implementation plan, issues log, process maps, reports, FTE analysis, etc.) and monitor results of process design deliverables and project completion
- Benchmark processes and assess the required complement to handle / manage workload
- Monitor and resolve emerging issues at the implementation stage of the project
- May act as SME for the IT team during development of system specs
- Seeks input from the business by facilitating sessions
- Participates in post implementation review, provides post implementation support and act as the escalation point for any process issue
- Design and develop strategic training plan associated with introduction of new or enhanced business processes
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with business partners and internal / external team members
- Actively participates as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the business requirements gathering process
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree. Specialization in Business, Finance, Engineering, Math or Science desirable. Business Analyst designation is an asset
- 7+ years business analyst experience
- Experience in identifying and assessing key business processes
- Demonstrated performance excellence with a track record of success on large global projects
- Experience in all facets of project lifecycle; strong comprehension of project management methodologies; genuine commitment to project environment and discipline
- Experience in financial services would be an asset
- Experience in Information Technology field - would be an asset

- Work effectively through issues. Keen judgment in distinguishing between what users want versus what they need and prioritizing conflicting factors such as urgency, costs, time to deliver, regulatory, etc.
- Proven competence, experience and knowledge in the development and delivery of large and highly complex project / programs
- Expert verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service oriented with effective interpersonal skills
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills
- Expert ability to resolve minor conflicts / issues using different tactics for prior to escalation
