Senior Full Stack Cloud Developer

Our product, FortiNDR (Network Detection Response), utilizes cutting-edge machine learning technology for sophisticated malware detection, intrusion detection, and identifying network anomalies.

We are expanding into a private cloud-based service and are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to drive the development of this new expansion.

Job Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and development of new cloud-based frontend for FortiNDR, with a particular focus on threat investigation and virtual analyst functionalities.
• Architect and implement scalable and secure software solutions across OpenStack, vSphere, and private cloud infrastructures.
• Work on front-end GUI development using JavaScript and backend systems programming using C / C++.
• Architect and implement scalable and secure software solutions across OpenStack, vSphere, and private cloud infrastructures.

Skills Required :

• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of C or C++ for robust backend development.
• Minimum 6 years' demonstrated relevant work experience
• Experience with cloud platforms such as OpenStack and vSphere.
• Extensive Unix / Linux environment experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of network protocols (TCP / IP), firewalls, and network architecture.
• Strong foundation in security principles, including cryptography and encryption techniques.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Self-motivated with the ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members.
• Prior experience in deploying and managing large-scale cloud services.

Education Requirement :

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $115,000 - $140,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.

Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
