On their behalf we are seeking an experienced professional capable of identifying and delivering various networking, server and security solutions that meet the strategic business needs of their customers.
This will be a relatively even mix of project and operational work.
The successful candidate will be a highly qualified systems engineer that has a broad skillset in servers and networking including at least four of Cisco, IP Routing, Switching, MPLS, Multicast VPN, Traffic Engineering, CRS, Nexus, NX-OS, IOS-XR, hardware specifications, CRS, Nexus and / or related solutions.
Extensive hands-on experience in a variety of firewalls (Fortinet would be an asset). Experience with MS Azure and O365 would be considered an asset.
Candidates should have the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and drive the necessary activities to solve customer issues.
- Excellent analytical skills for solving technical issues
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience in proposal and documentation writing
- Proven experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration; testing, reporting and recommendations. Experience with IDS / IPS and enterprise security policies
- Minimum 3-4 years system engineering experience; customer facing consulting experience would be an asset.
- Extensive experience in the architectural design and implementation of secured networks
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to systematically dissect problems.
- A proven track record of excelling in a fast-past, results-oriented environment with changing priorities and multiple goals.
- A proactive and self-motivated work ethic.
