A typical day would involve :
- Plan and schedule regular building maintenance for assigned zone of 15-20 branches, to meet business needs.
- Provides service to branches for planned preventative maintenance and minor repair work (furniture repairs, minor building repairs, painting, lighting, material disposal, appliance replacement).
- Provide first-response to branches for emergent issues (fires, leaks / floods, heating, plumbing, alarms, exterior / roofing issues) and coordinate trade responses.
- Coordinate and / or perform technical work consistent with agreed upon timelines, regulatory requirements, and established standards.
- Participate in the optimization of work processes and systems, and troubleshoot activities that facilitate operational efficiency, mitigate risk and achieve results.
- Provide on-call support during evenings and weekends in rotation with their colleagues, ensuring that the Real Estate, Facilities and Procurement team can respond to non-working hour emergencies.
You have :
- Recognized training courses in technical skills and trades that apply to Facilities Management and Building Operations.
- A valid British Columbia Driver's License, possessing and maintaining a responsible and safe driving record. Ability to travel to branches and on-site capital projects.
- Broad construction or Facilities maintenance-related work experience
- Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with branch staff and external stakeholders.

The salary range for the role is $44,700 to $67,100 and a candidate’s offer is likely to be up to the mid-point of the role ($55,900) .
The upper half of the salary range is typically reserved for individuals who have demonstrated consistent strong performance in the role and possess a high level of job knowledge and skill.
