What we are looking for :
Minimum 3 years’ experience in print and copying using production machine, binding machines and copier systems
Minimum 3 years’ experience inventory and materials management replenishment controls
Previous Stores / Receiving experience is an asset
Demonstrated computer skills to ensure accuracy of inventory management and receiving information entered into the Plexxus module
Strong customer service skills when dealing with suppliers and hospital staff
Strong organizational and priority setting skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Attention to detail in receiving, stores, copying and printing
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
What you bring to the role :
Fulfill daily / weekly print shop request
Update forms in system database
Receive items, verify supplier’s packing slip and complete and maintain receiving documentation
Process receiving documentation in the computer system
Stock shelves with receiving and stores items
Deliver received goods to various departments
Perform regular inventory counts for stores items and replenish when needed
Order inventory stock supplies to maintain quotas
Trouble shoot mail room system
Assist the Stores Attendant as needed
Frequent walking, climbing, pushing and pulling of carts and equipment
Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. frequently and use a hydraulic pump truck
Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards
Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with organization related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required
Work Schedule :
The current hours of work will be 8 am - 4 pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Please note that the shift is subject to change based on the operational needs of the department.
