We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Manager who can lead projects with precision, collaborate with remote teams, and provide critical support to our customer success team for escalated technical issues as needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Technical Product Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of key technical projects, ensuring clarity, alignment, and on-time delivery.

This role will also work closely with development teams to maintain seamless project progress across time zones and handle technical escalations for the customer success team when complex issues arise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management

  • Lead and manage all phases of technical projects, from planning through execution and closure, ensuring they meet company objectives and timelines.
  • Collaborate with development teams to coordinate project tasks, timelines, and deliverables, managing time zone and communication challenges to maintain project momentum.

Escalation Support for Customer Success

  • Act as a technical escalation point for the customer success team to resolve complex technical issues that require advanced troubleshooting.
  • Partner with technical teams to quickly address and resolve escalated customer issues, ensuring the customer success team receives clear, actionable updates.

Cross-Functional Communication

  • Act as the main point of contact between technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Translate technical requirements and progress updates into accessible information for customer success and executive stakeholders.

Risk and Issue Management

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to maintain project timelines and minimize impact on stakeholders.
  • Implement solutions that align with both technical feasibility and business objectives, escalating when necessary to address critical issues.

Process Optimization and Documentation

  • Develop and refine project management processes to improve efficiency, communication, and documentation, ensuring knowledge-sharing across the technical team.
  • Maintain detailed documentation on project processes and escalation support protocols to aid team cross-training and continuity.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Proven experience as a product manager with a record of successfully managing technical projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with and building remote development teams, coordinating across time zones to manage project expectations and deliverables.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other software development methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Monday, Github).

Preferred

  • Background in a technical or engineering field, with experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for technical issues, especially in a SaaS environment.
  • Proficient in telecom messaging technologies and processes, such as the CTIA and CTA messaging best-practices, 10DLC registration, carrier message deliverability, messaging aggregation, and other messaging procedures.
  • Knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, Kubernetes and other SaaS technologies is an asset.
  • Broadcast media experience is an asset.
