We’re looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst (DevOps) to join our GWAM Application Support team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to support a wide variety of systems from a Level 2 / 3 perspective and work with business clients, internal and external teams to debug or trouble shoot applications.

Key Responsibilities :
- Provide L2 analysis and troubleshooting support for a suite of business applications.
- As needed : Design, code, unit test and integrate new features and functionality. Maintain and ensure high quality software by writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards, with accountability for production reliability and usage.
- Act as the technical escalation point of contact for all important and critical BAU incidents and issues related to the Collateral team’s end-to-end processes.
- Fully understand the BAU support escalation procedures for all technical teams and business teams.
- Provide timely updates for all critical BAU issues, track who is working on the specific critical BAU issue, root causes update and estimate time for issue resolution.
- Coordinate with different production support teams and different Global, Regional, and local IT teams to resolve production issues.
- Build partnership with relevant stakeholders and application teams.
- Monitor and / or analyze any issues, and if possible, recommend or proactively apply solution to prevent further implication / problem.
- Facilitate the requirements elicitation, business impact analysis and document solution designs and other solution alternatives to accommodate business demand / needs
- Serves as SME to provide guidance and support to market / business leads.
- Adhoc responsibilities as directed by management.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or any related course
- Minimum 5 years working experience supporting enterprise-level and trading applications at Level 2 (support)
- Proven background in software development lifecycle, agile and DevOps principles, test-driven development, continuous integration, and other approaches to accelerate the delivery of new features.
- Knowledge in Installation, configuration of Apex, SWIFT and related applications would be preferred.
- Awareness of ITIL (incident, problem, change and release management) practices in aligning IT services with the needs of business.
- Innovative problem-solving skills with the proven ability to exercise flexibility and judgment.
- Work experience in the financial services industry (Banking domain / Capital Market Domain experience would be plus).
- Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively articulate and communicate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes.
- Ability to work on a fast-paced environment, handle high pressure situations and be able to multitask.
- A capacity for constant learning from both success and failure, remaining open to change and continuous improvement.
- Candidate should be amenable to work on DAY and / or NIGHT shift schedule
Technical skills preferred :
- AKS (Azure Kubernetes) microservices, stop and restart of microservices.
- SQL, Databases & basic network configuration
- CA Workload Automation
- JIRA
- Java 8, Spring Boot 1.x
Technical skills nice to have :
- Knowledge in languages such as Java Springboot, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular / React, GraphQL, Kafka / IBM MQ Messages and / or similar technologies.
