International company in the West Island of Montreal is seeking an AccountingTechnician level 2 to complete the accounting department team.
In a multi-company & family owned business, the bilingual Accounting Technician will be responsible to help & assist all accounting activities.
We are looking for a full time experienced bilingual AccountingTechnician to work under the general supervisin of the corporate Controller.
The dynamic bilingual individual must have strong computer skills and experience with EPICOR or any other ERP SYSTEM and MS Office especially EXCEL.
With a pleasant personality and a good communicator, the applicant must be able to work in a team envirionment.
Required : Minimum D.E.P. or D.E.C. in business and accounting. 3 to 5 years in a similar position which includes the following tasks.

Full cycle Accounts Payable : For a multicompany organization.
Receiving invoices from suppliers, assigning and coding invoices / bills / expense claims according to company policy..
Matching purchase orders to each invoice, preparing and cutting checks or making wire transfers.
Reviewing expense claims and ensuring expenses are accurate and that members are reimbursed accordingly.
Organizing and maintaining files for contracts, vendors and accounts payable.
Also, Assisting with Accounts Receivable and with other accounting activities when required in a team working environment.
Education & Qualification requirements :
At minimum, D.E.P. or D.E.C. education in Accounting, Business, Administration or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar position with EPICOR or other ERP operating system experience is a must.
- Bilingual French and English.
- MS Office and intermediate excel skills.
- Positive attitude, highly organized and good communications skills.
- Able to work in a team environment.
