- To report to dutypunctually in full uniform in full uniform according toappearance and grooming standards
- Toconsistently offer personal friendly and efficient service strivingto exceed all guests expectations
- To clear alldishes deliver meals and to present bills in a professional anddiscreet manner
- To have full knowledge of themenu dietary restrictions and beverage lists in your outlet.Knowledge of all menu items their garnishes contents andpreparation methods is required as be prepared to answer any guestquestions in a direct and concise way
- To takecorrective action when dealing with dissatisfied guests as the maingoal is to have the guest leave happy
- Tomaintain teamwork and good work ethics with all guests (internaland external) by assisting coworkers with any duties withoutcompromising the guests dining experience
- Tounderstand shift end reports have knowledge of noncash / cashtransactions and procedures for depositing monies into safe orcollecting due backs
- To have read andunderstood all hotel policies and procedures and departmentalstandards as outlined in the employeehandbook
- To understand the concept hours ofoperation procedures for order taking writing reservations tablesetting and guest service standards of therestaurant
- To understand each work section andall side duties that are be assigned toyou
- Attend preshift weekly and monthly meetingsto ensure open lines of communication between allemployees
- To fully understand and follow thehotels recycling program andprocedures
- Immediately report any accidentsthat happen (regarding a guest a coworker or yourself) to yourmanager
- To express your concerns suggestions orcomments on how to improve the guests experience or ways to improvethe operation as a whole
- To understand allother outlets services and offices in the hotel (location hours ofoperation and offerings)
- Adhere to ALL SafeStandards ensuring all hygiene and prevention measures are beingmet
- Adhere to alcohol handling procedures andpolicies
- Adhere to all LQA standards set forthe department
- Any other tasks asassigned
Qualifications :
- Previous workexperience in a restaurant / food and beveragesetting
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ateam player attitude
- Smart Serve trainingprogram certification required
- OTEC certificatean asset
- Previous experience of working in anunion environment preferred
- Flexibility withshifts dependent on business demands (must be availableweekends)
