Riipen is looking for an experienced Senior Brand and Content Manager to join our Marketing team and lead a team of content creators, researchers, and designers.

In this role, you will own Riipen’s brand and content strategy, ensuring we meet our marketing and sales goals with consistent and effective branding.

You will devise the concepts and strategies for Riipen from brand to demand and will monitor and measure copy and creative for performance and optimization.

You will be expected to implement your creative vision and exceptional copywriting, project management, and team leadership skills, and become the point of contact for any brand and content needs.

You and your team will create content from the ground up, collaborating with our sales team to understand their content needs and deliver high-quality, compelling content for a broad audience that includes higher-education leaders and educators, employers, and non-profit organizations.

This role is fully remote and open to candidates in Canada. Please note that the salary range is inclusive of bonus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a content strategy that supports the company’s brand objectives and overall marketing and sales goals.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, presentations, and sales collateral for academic, employer, and special project audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify content needs and create materials to support their efforts across academic, employer, and special project channels.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, working with digital and SEO teams to enhance visibility and searchability.
  • Manage content distribution across email marketing, social media, websites, and other channels, ensuring a consistent and cohesive message.
  • Build and maintain a consistent brand voice across all content, ensuring alignment with brand tone, messaging, and visual identity.
  • Analyze content performance metrics (e.g., engagement, traffic, conversions) and use data-driven insights to make adjustments that optimize results.
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and effectiveness in all materials, focusing on improving conversion rates and driving results.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of content creators, researchers, and designers, providing clear direction and fostering creativity and collaboration.
  • Manage production timelines, ensuring timely delivery of content across teams and coordinating with external vendors when necessary.
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitor strategies to continually improve the content strategy.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

You may be a good fit if you have :

  • 5+ years of marketing experience within a creative function / agency
  • 2+ years managing creative talent
  • Hubspot, Google Analytics, Webflow, Asana, Canva, HTML experience (required)
  • Experience writing for SEO (required)
  • Exceptional copywriting skills for all marketing channels
  • Some design experience and ability to design assets as needed
  • Project management skills and experience using Asana
  • Knowledge of email marketing, social media marketing, and content management
  • Some creative skills and aptitude for oversight of creative direction and design
  • Knowledge of PR and press and ability to write press releases, interview questionnaires, and other corporate communications
