The Role
The Kinesiology & Health Sciences Department is looking for up to three full time sessional instructors for the 2024-25 academic year in core areas of kinesiology.
These are tenure-track positions, subject to favourable evaluations and budget. These positions will include classes in the fall and winter semesters, with the possibility of spring courses (May & June, online only).
Position 1 : Areas of instruction may include physiology and exercise physiology, biomechanics, statistics, advanced training methodologies, or nutrition.
Position 2 : Areas of instruction may include adapted physical activity, advanced training methodologies, nutrition, fitness assessment, or aerobic training.
Position 3 : Areas of instruction may include anatomy, physiology, sports injuries, statistics or research methods.
For all positions, different courses be available depending on the background and expertise of the candidates and fit within the department.

The Department
The Kinesiology and Health Sciences department is part of the School of Health and is located in the main campus building in Grande Prairie.
Within the department we offer diplomas in Kinesiology and Personal Training, as well as university transfer opportunities to a variety of programs.
