We are currently seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our community at S+L Kitchen & Bar, in Langley!
Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to :
- Assisting the GM with providing leadership and development for the team
- Assisting the GM with recruiting, onboarding, and training new hires
- Assisting the GM with maintaining a positive working relationship with all JRG employees
- Promoting and upholding JRG culture and service standards
- Assisting the GM with managing day to day operations of the restaurant and ensuring financial, payroll and other administrative duties are completed
- Assisting the M with controlling operational costs and identifying areas of improvement to improve profitability
Working Conditions :
- Hours and shifts may vary
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Serving It Right Certification
- 2+ years' experience in hospitality management including overseeing a dining operation, building relationships with guests, and balancing seating capacity
- Completing JRG Food & Beverage testing
- Understanding and promotion of the JRG Mission Statement, Philosophy, and Service Standards
