Status : Full-time and Part time (minimum 20 hours commitment required)

Duration : Equivalent to minimum 520 Hours (or 3 months minimum)

Work location : Remote (with hybrid options in Toronto and Chicago only)

Compensation : Hourly (paid in equity compensation equivalent to CAD $32-35 / hour

Role Overview : We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Scrum Intern to join our team. This position is ideal for a Master's level student with a strong interest in Agile methodologies and project management.

As a Scrum Intern, you will support our Scrum Masters in facilitating Agile processes, ensuring effective communication, and driving the success of our development teams.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist Scrum Masters in planning and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Monitor and report on team progress, helping to identify and remove impediments.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Agile practices within the team.
  • Maintain and update project documentation, including sprint backlogs and task boards.
  • Support the team in achieving a high level of performance and quality in delivering projects.

Qualifications :

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) is an asset.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.

The ability to video record your answers will be required.

  • Evaluation : Our team will review the responses to both questionnaires. Candidates who meet our criteria will be invited to the next stage.
  • Orientation Session : Successful candidates will be invited to participate in an orientation session where they will learn more about Vosyn, our projects, and what to expect during the internship.

After this session, you will be given the opportunity to opt-in if you choose that this internship is for you.
