Position Details
Our claims team is looking for a Property Adjuster who will be responsible for :
What you will do :
- Full investigation, evaluation, analysis, negotiation and settlement of Property damage claims
- Conduct claim investigations which include taking phone statements, coordinating services with service providers, consulting with contractors and vendors, etc.
- Evaluate liability, salvage and subrogation exposure and potential
- Review and analyze losses to ensure files meet the guideline criteria and determine proper kind of loss
- Maintain adequate reserves based on exposure and authority level
- General support of claims area and special projects as required
Who you are :
- 1-2 years experience in a Claims environment
- An educational background including relevant post-secondary education
- CIP designation or working towards a CIP designation
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills are essential
- Career minded individuals whom have demonstrated a career path
