Title : Enterprise Data Architect
Location : Markham, Canada (Onsite, 3 days / week)
Overview :
The Enterprise Data Architect will drive IT strategies that support business goals, define target data architecture, and lead solution design.
This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to ensure IT investments align with the organization’s objectives, as well as evaluating new technologies in data, data science, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain enterprise-wide data architecture and roadmaps.
- Design IT solutions that prioritize security, resilience, and performance, balancing short- and long-term goals.
- Lead Solution Architects to align projects with architecture standards and strategic roadmaps.
- Assess emerging technologies and recommend tools for data integration and management.
- Oversee architecture reviews and create design artifacts that meet service and security standards.
- Guide less experienced team members, contributing to the architecture community.
Qualifications :
- Strong experience in enterprise architecture, data platforms, and solution design.
- Proficiency in data science and MLOps tools (Snowflake, AWS, Informatica, etc.).
- Solid understanding of application and infrastructure technologies.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to varied audiences, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to evolving project needs.
