MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer for our client an industry leading mechanical engineering consultancy.
Over the past 25+ years, our client has leveraged their expertise in mechanical design and project management to deliver solutions for HVAC, plumbing and drainage, fire protection systems, and energy modelling projects located across Western Canada and California.
As they continue to grow, they are seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer / Designer to join their Calgary office.
You will be a passionate team player with proven technical expertise as it relates to mechanical building projects. Leading design projects, coaching, even getting one’s hands dirty on the technical aspects of projects are just a few of the potential responsibilities you can anticipate.

Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma, with 7+ years of experience as a professional Engineer.
- Detailed understanding of all building systems, including architectural, structural, civil, electrical, and fire, an dhow they impact and are impacted by the mechanical systems.
- Excellent written skills and understanding of software programs such as Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Word.
- An ability to schedule, mentor, and manage project teams of 1-3 people, on 2 or more concurrent projects.
- A willingness to jump-in on projects and be hands-on technically when required .
