We are looking for a qualified and compassionate physiotherapist to join our Brand-New office located at Trinity Hills right beside Canada Olympic Park in Calgary Alberta.
You will be responsible for providing physical therapy services to patients with various conditions, such as injuries, chronic diseases, disabilities, or aging.
You will also educate and advise patients on how to prevent or manage their condition, and promote healthy lifestyles.
To be successful as a physiotherapist, you should have excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for helping people improve their physical well-being.
You should also be able to work collaboratively with other health care professionals and follow ethical and professional standards.
Responsibilities :
- Assess patients' physical abilities and needs through tests, interviews, and observations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using various modalities, such as exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, and others.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and modify them as needed.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on how to prevent or cope with their condition, and encourage healthy habits and behaviors.
- Communicate with referring physicians and other health care providers regarding patients' progress and needs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient care and treatment.
- Keep up to date with the latest research and best practices in physiotherapy.
- Provide consulting or education services as required.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's or master's degree in physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice as a physiotherapist in the province of Alberta Canada.
- Liability Insurance that meets or exceeds the minimum standard.
- Proficient in various physiotherapy techniques and modalities.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and biomechanics.
- Ability to perform physical assessments and diagnostic tests.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other health care providers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong ethical and professional conduct.
