Motion Designer

Sprung Studios is looking for an experienced Motion Designer to join our team! We want to hear from individuals passionate about games and motion design to create the best gaming experiences.

What You’ll Do :

• Use Adobe After Effects to animate UX / UI Design solutions, bringing dynamism and life to the game interfaces
• Work with UX / UI Leads, Producers, and UX / UI Designers to understand project scope, objectives, and deliverables
• Partner with UX / UI Leads, Producers, and UX / UI Designers to brainstorm creative concepts, storyboard ideas, and refine animation output
• Work with project team members to contribute to the project kick-off process
• Work closely with the Senior Motion Designer, Production, and UX / UI to provide estimates for the Motion Design
• Creating tangible exploratory / research work
• Actual production of Motion Design work, according to planning and estimates
• Being involved in the internal sign-off / iteration process for project-specific Motion Design work
• Communicating with the client on calls / Slack to discuss ideas and collect feedback
• Acting on feedback to produce appropriate further iterations
• Delivering finished work to the clients

What You’ll Bring :

• 2 years experience in Motion Graphics
• Be proficient in After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator, Rive
• Have extensive knowledge of animation principles and motion graphics techniques
• Strong visual storytelling and creative concept experience
• Be adept at communicating ideas through clear, descriptive storyboards
• Strong design sensibility (typography, colour, and composition)
• Comfortable working with vector illustration and shape animation
• Have a great understanding of how to create a variety of effects and transitions
• the ability to communicate efficiently and adjust processes to meet project goals and timelines
• Be able to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task
• Have flexible with taking on initiatives, big and small
• Bonus point for having experience in 3D

Salary range : $50,000- $70,000
