You as a Maintenance Technician will :
- Operate and maintain all courthouse equipment and tools
- Respond to emergency, urgent, routine on-demand service requests and performs preventative and corrective action on facility mechanical and courthouse equipment and systems
- Monitor assigned equipment and systems by conducting facility walkthroughs and Building Automation (BAS) monitoring
- Lead tradesmen / subcontractors (accompany) on equipment repair, preventative maintenance and calibration. Issue permit-to-work and hot work permits.
Report any noncompliance and safety-related matter
- Ensure conformance to the Environmental Management System within key process areas
- Attend and participate in training programs as required by EDFS and local city and provincial jurisdictions
- Maintain records and information pertinent to work assignments
- Close PM and routine work orders on the PDA after completing work assignments
- Provide written estimates on work-related repairs and new construction projects as requested
- Strict adherence to safety guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Provide technical and functional guidance to other staff
- Ensure and maintains compliance with assets under the management of FM
- Inventory management
- Assist with facility-related projects
- Other duties as required
Is this the right role for you?
- Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant experience
- Building Environmental Services (BES) 1& 2 or Facility Maintenance Related Course
- Knowledge of Building Automation System (BAS)
- Understanding of mechanical drawings and schematics
