Job Description
Your primary responsibility is to take care of our customers, by means of outstanding customer service. This means excellent communications skills, a sincere interest in helping other people, good judgment, initiative, and diplomacy.
You will receive and routes incoming calls and greets visitors to SES and provide general information and assistance. Assist different colleagues in their work and perform routine office support functions, including word processing and filing and perform related duties as assigned.
You will also assist the customer administrative supervisor in performing various tasks such as working with invoicing and accounts receivable and writing routine correspondence.
You will become an integral part of SES’s marketing and sales team and your opinions will be solicited.
Requirements
- Operate a multi-line telephone system, computer and other standard office equipment; type accurately; handle a high volume of telephone calls with courtesy, speed and accuracy.
- Communicate with the public in a courteous and professional manner by telephone and in person.
- Work independently with general supervision.
- Understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
- Excellent spoken English and French Ability to express yourself clearly in good written English.
- Very good knowledge of English due to documentation and communications with customers who are about 95% outside Quebec
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Able to Function in French and English
- Comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook required, PowerPoint and Excel would be a great plus) and not afraid to learn to use other software.
It is expected that the successful candidate will have a college degree, but this not an absolute must.
