Our client, a notable design firm in downtown Toronto, is looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer to join their mid-size team.

Your new role
As an Intermediate Interior Designer, you will work alongside the Senior Leadership Team on all project phases. You will work directly with the client to establish conceptual design, as well as play a vital role throughout design development, working drawings, and tender / construction phases.
You will be responsible for contributing to the overallpletion of projects, as well as taking a lead role in managing smaller-scale projects.
You will have the opportunity to work on high-profile residential and hospitality builds and showcase your creative prowess - spatial planning, FF&E selection, colour theory, and design concepts are just a few of your areas of expertise.
You will work with the firm's Technologists to ensure all working drawings areplete and revise based on Leadership's redlines, as well as reviewing bid documents, managing deficiencies and visiting sites during and after installation.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Interior Design from a recognized post-secondary institute.
A minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in hospitality, multi-unit residential or retail projects across all project stages.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and SketchUp is essential. An understanding of Revit is an asset, and ARIDO membership is preferred.
A strong understanding of OBC is important. When ites to personality, the ideal candidate is enthusiastic, creative, detail-oriented and has a lot of big ideas to share!
