Location :
Remote, with some in-office attendance for training and meetings.
Key Responsibilities : As a Proposal Writer, you’ll work closely with our service delivery team, helping COFOMO respond to RFPs for a range of clients. Key tasks include :
- RFP Response Preparation :
- Review all RFP requirements meticulously to ensure complete compliance and qualify mandatory items.
- Develop proposal content, including candidate matrices and résumés, for final submission.
- Provide expertise in constructing candidate matrices, ensuring skills are well-articulated.
- Edit consultant résumés to align with COFOMO’s guidelines and ensure alignment with proposal requirements.
- Collaborate with Sales and Recruiting teams to streamline the proposal delivery process.
- Prepare proposals for delivery, including printing, binding, and completing required certifications.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance Checks :
- Conduct thorough reviews to ensure proposals meet quality standards and are fully compliant.
- Document Management :
- Retrieve and electronically file RFPs, amendments, and Q&As.
Additional Tasks :
Occasionally, you may also :
- Support job opportunity and consultant database maintenance.
- Monitor BuyandSell and other relevant tendering services.
- Contribute to company literature, such as corporate marketing materials and project references.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Experience : At least 2 years in proposal writing or a related role.
- Technical Proficiency : Strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Communication Skills : Excellent written communication abilities.
- Self-Motivation : Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage workload under pressure.
- Attention to Detail : A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Adaptability : Willingness to learn and respond to feedback.
Additional Assets :
- Familiarity with Canadian Federal Government procurement processes and supply arrangements is a strong asset.
