Are you a numbers-driven professional with a passion for payroll and compensation services? We're looking for a detail-oriented Commission and Payroll Associate to provide exceptional advisor compensation services and actively engage with Brokers in the industry.
You'll collaborate with various internal partners, ensuring timely and accurate release of compensation payments, resolving commission issues, and maintaining strong client relationships.

What will you do?
- Ensure weekly pay periods close with successful release of compensation payments to advisors.
- Perform manual calculations, ensuring to apply appropriate processes, tools and techniques to perform the commission and disbursement functions.
- Respond to advisor and distribution firms’ queries in a timely manner, to ensure a high degree of client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain good client relationships by providing clear, concise and professional verbal and written descriptions / explanations in accordance with the Privacy and Confidentiality Guidelines.
- Support Regional Directors of Business Development and Client Relationship Executives / Managers in finding resolutions to commission issues
- Support Finance by investigating and resolving accounting discrepancies, variances and errors within the established turnaround time
- Process advisor-of-record changes within the established turnaround time.
- Investigate unprocessed activities and system error messages on a daily basis and take appropriate action to complete the necessary adjustments timely to meet the disbursement deadlines.
- Reconcile commissions for policy and advisor terminations
- Monitor and manage the collection of all advisor debt balances
What do you need to succeed?
- Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical skills and excellent attention to details
- Workflow and time management skills
- Solid ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task
- Strong sense of ownership
- Team-oriented and service-oriented
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work under pressure
- Overtime may be required during peak periods
