The Wholesale Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the
wholesale business. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that the retailers are able to place
orders and that the orders are sent smoothly and efficiently, with great attention to detail and
accuracy. This is a manager-level position that requires excellent communication, experience
and thought leadership skills.
JOB DETAILS :
Independent Accounts :
- Process and track Independent wholesale orders, ensuring timely fulfillment and accurate invoicing.
- Monitor stock levels and work closely with planning to determine sku availability and excess inventory.
Major Accounts :
Onboard all new Major customers from an Operations perspective, ensuring Customer’s operational requirements are correctly set up with corresponding SITE ID and SOP creation for seamless 3PL execution.
Update accordingly as needed.
- Complete all Major’s product set-up forms, working with Cymbio where applicable - Upload all new products with all required information to respective Partner platforms including NuOrder, Cymbio and Shopify.
- Enter manual orders for Major customers, including Amazon in the ERP system, allocating inventory where necessary and communicating with Planning to ensure inventory requirements are met.
- Liaise with Operations and 3PL to ensure all delivery windows and shipping requirements are maintained and followed for all dropship and Major POs. (EDI Compliance)
- Monitor the effectiveness of internal control processes to avoid any chargebacks or compliance charges resulting from fulfillment errors.
Investigate and resolve any chargebacks.
Partner with Finance to resolve any billing discrepancies
Dropship Accounts :
Onboard all new Dropship from an Operations perspective, ensuring Customer’s operational requirements are correctly set up with corresponding SITE ID and SOP creation for seamless 3PL execution.
Update accordingly as needed.
- Maintain a seamless online product catalog for all dropship partners, communicating any discontinued items or pricing discrepancies.
- Partner with Finance to resolve any billing discrepancies and ensure all orders are invoiced correctly and on time
- Monitor daily outbound of orders, processing shortships as needed and working with Warehouse Manager to ensure SLA and SOPs are upheld.
- Process returns into ERP and 3PL as needed
FOB Orders :
Work with Sales Director & Planning Manager ensuring FOB orders are shipped compliant to vendor guide and on-time
Amazon :
- Partner with Planning to identify optimal Amazon catalog
- Process weekly Amazon orders, ensuring inventory availability and shipping guidelines and SOPs are followed
- Process returns into ERP and 3PL as needed
- Reconcile any compliance chargebacks as needed with Finance
Reporting and Analysis :
- Update Sales Tracker daily with invoiced and open orders and communicate updates to team members
- Update 3PL unit & order forecast monthly and prior to peak sale periods
- Monitor sales across all Wholesale channels to identify trends and opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant fields is an asset
- 1 to 3 years’ previous work experience in Operations, preferably in the juvenile or apparel industry.
- Previous experience working with Amazon, NetSuite, NuOrder is an asset
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial, inquisitive, and innovative spirit
- Demonstrates strong business acumen, time management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to work effectively under stress and juggle competing demands
- Self-motivated, persistent, and determined - Able to work independently and function as a strong team player.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills - Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office), with a proficiency in Excel
